Hello! Our names are Fouad and Pontus, we are 21 years old and the founders of Lyckåsen. When we were 6 years old, Fouad came up to me (Pontus) and said that the two of us are about the same at football. This was the first step to what would turn out to be a great friendship. Something that we have in common more than just football is our drive and commitment to make a concrete difference and create something unique together.

These factors laid the foundation for what would come to be known as Lyckåsen. At Lyckåsen, we not only sell soap, shampoo and soap dishes, but we strive daily to make a concrete difference. To actually make this positive difference, everyone needs to help each other. Today, plastic bottles are by almost every sink and are also found in almost every shower room – it's a problem! Lyckåsen wants to help change this. When you buy a soap or shampoo from us, you make a direct difference, not only by removing the need for plastic bottles at home, but also by helping to fund the planting of trees.

For every kilo of soap or shampoo sold, Lyckåsen plants a tree. It gives women and men living in poverty the opportunity to cope with the effects of the climate crisis, increase their resilience and improve their living conditions, both immediately and in the long term. At the same time, carbon dioxide is sequestered and the climate is improved.

By having created Lyckåsen and implementing this sustainable cycle, we are getting closer to our driving force "to make a concrete difference"
