We forest
Trees fight both poverty and climate change.
Vi-skogen works with tree planting in East Africa, where they also train local people
farmer organizations in sustainable agriculture and agroforestry, gender equality and
entrepreneurship. Agroforestry involves letting trees grow and interact with frogs
and livestock. It gives women and men living in poverty the opportunity to cope
the effects of the climate crisis. They increase their resilience and can thus improve themselves
their living conditions, immediately and in the long term. At the same time, carbon dioxide and the climate are linked
improve.
Products
When we develop our products, sustainability is a central consideration. We strive for our ingredients to be in harmony with the environment and carefully select substances such as parabens, silicones and SLS. In addition, our products do not contain palm oil and are completely vegan and cruelty-free. We are proud to be 100% plastic free, scented only with natural essential oils completely free of synthetic perfume. We completely refrain from dyes and chemicals and instead use ingredients taken from nature's own resources.
Packaging
At Lyckåsen, we prioritize environmentally friendly packaging solutions. We use recyclable cardboard and recycled cardboard when we send packages to our customers and have completely excluded the use of plastic. Our decision to use tape made from paper instead of plastic clearly shows what we stand for. With us, environmental considerations are always of the utmost importance.
